What is their income?

Problem is we don’t know how much our other dependant will earn this year, he’s doesn’t know how many hours he will work each week and it’s his first year earning so not sure what to put

Did he sign a contract with a minimum amount of hours stated and pay?

No sorry Claire self employed, usually 20hrs a week but sometimes there’s no work when weather bad

Will it affect the funding much if I leave a dependent off the form?

You will need to give your best estimate of the dependent's income. These figures can affect the student's maintenance entitlement.
