Hi, I'm applying for student finance & I was just wondering if anyone knows if I were to put down that my parents were divorced do I have to provide proof of their divorce?

Hello, thank you for answering my question. I was hoping you could answer another question for me please.
My parents are separated but are legally married however I only live with one of my parents and all my financial costs are supported by that one parent. Will I need to provide evidence of their separation?

Yes. We would need evidence of their marital status for your application. You'd put your sponsor as the one you live with and have most contact with and we'd request evidence from them.

Yes they do
