Strathclyde entry

So far I have received conditions for a few universities but was let down with Uni of Glasgow due to not meeting the standard entry requirements for the course. Although I applied for Spanish/ History at Glasgow and my results in H Spanish was C level which made the outcome understandable. However, I have applied for History/ Spanish at University of Strathclyde and I managed to acquire a A in English and History and I am resitting Spanish and sitting at an A on estimated levels. I am still waiting to hear back from Strathclyde and I was just wondering if anyone else was in the same situation as Strathclyde is my final choice and is my preferred choice. Do you think there could be a possibility of getting in if being let down by Glasgow?

the acceptance rate at strath is lower than glasgow, but strath is generally more competitive for engineering, law, business ect, so keep hoping!
