LITERALLY DO NOT DO THE PAPER BACKWARDS WHO SAID THAT. every examiners report ever says that's a bad idea, that people miss out questions and spend too long on the 30 markers and don't even get to the 10 markers.

Okay for the 20mark i completely didnt see that we should’nt mention aeneas😭😭the odyssey 20 mark wasnt bad but i waffled about nostos, odysseus killing suitors and jupiter on mortals bring their own suffering blah blah

30 mark for aeneid was beautiful - agreed and said women r central to aeneas characterisation, theme war/family etc (used Dido vs Creusa, Juno vs Venus) counter with Carmilla as great character but uneeded as she comes late and we already see Nisus and Euryalus deaths + agreed further with horror of war eg Amata delaying fate attempts and Lavinia key to Aeneas founding new race etc including shield, augustus, and more waffle

10 mark passages not bad , ran out of time for comparative

Overall those 20 markers were trash and they have so much on the spec to choose from but they do that. Questions should just be on themes because i revised every little theme just for none to come up yay

Yeah 100% agree, Aeneid 30 marker was amazing. I actually didn't mind the Aeneid 20 marker and spoke about the Trojans going from prey to predators when moving from being victims to a foreign threat to turning into one. Overall not bad but also waffled in the Odyssey 20 marker. 10 markers were okay but weird texts and comparative question wasn't awful.
