Pretty decent I’d say , I mean the pot was the main thing that threw me off a bit but managed to say enough id say

I swear the question was that comedy is more enjoyable for a modern audience

What did you include for the 30 marker for theatre. I found it difficult

That was the 30 marker which I found ok. I struggled with the 20 marker about Sophocles etc

I thought the pot was ok but found the 20 marker difficult. Everything else was pretty good.

right like.. it was so vague by what they meant by reclining??

so bad..... i waffled so bad cuz the only reclining figures i could think of other than the aphaia ones were the seer from the temple of zeus and all the gods on parthenon east pediment 😭😭 can't believe they went from super broad 20 markers to this one. sooooo limited!!!

Hi i dont know if anyone else was happy to see a Julius Ceasar question but i sure was.. Though i did talk about the dangers of julius caesar in my second paragraph as he was not very popular with the people - do y'all think that was the right move, everyone keeps mentioning Lepidus and i think i mention him once 😅

Did anyone choose the 30 marker on the imperial family for imperial image? I had predicted that the imperial family or at least his heirs would come up and I thought that it was such a great question!

Greek theatre kiddos!
PAPER WAS AMAZING OMG!!! Redemption arc for paper 1 frfr.
Pentheus vase CHEFS KISS! 10 mark i said quite useful for plot eg pentheus death at hands of maenad, costumes etc but limited for staging - messenger reported his death, no sense of theatron or orchestra where chorus performed, bacchants were more wild with loose hair in play etc
. Messenger speeches 20 mark i had revised so gorgeousss i said bacchae> oedipus for themes (madness + religion) and characterising pentheus as a tragic hero then oedipus for plot eg tells oedipus his father is dead, who his father rlly is, shepherd and swollen foot name meaning etc
30 markers SEXY - did tragedy>comedy 30 marker enjoyable for audience - said tragedy as main due to being enjoyable for all audiences (modern and ancient) eg tragic heroism vs tyrant, religion theme, chorus emotional impact etc then disagreed with comedy for humour for ancient audience + moral messages in parabasis but overall comedy more contextual whereas tragedy enjoyable for all time periods.
10mark passage beautiful simile ‘like a maddened beast’, pathos, tragic irony, situation of incest, miasma with oedipus polluting polis and oikos ahhh LOVED THE PAPER
Lets go paper 3 !!! (Politics)

Do you happen to remember frogs 30 marker? I've asked like 3 times sorry everyone- I'm currently revising for mocks and would like to know past papers 😭
