hiii, i'm doing greek religion! :3 i don't think we're gonna have ninnion tablet (:frown:) or the panathenaic amphora or the oracle tablet for the first question, i think it'll either be on a site (i believe both delphi and the acropolis come up so i have my eyes on olympia) or possibly the sacrifice amphora? idk if that one's come up yet. idk what they might do for 20&30s

i think the sacrifice amphora came up in 2021 and olympia in 2020, so they might just start repeating some. the 20s and 30s are hard to predict cuz i feel like they repeat a lot there too. hopefully they just do something broad like public vs private

any love and relationship predictions?

something on homoeroticism or maybe family/reproduction or women! nothing has come up on homoerotic relationships yet and that's a big spec point

‘In the ancient world, attitudes to sexuality were rigid and focused on reproduction, rather than pleasure.’ / 'In the ancient world women were valued only for their reproductive capabilities'

‘Their responsibilities to the family were the most important thing in a man or woman’s life in the ancient world.’

‘Although Sappho is unusual as a female poet, her homoerotic stance, in the ancient setting, was unremarkable.’

Which chapter in particular is stressing you out? My teacher sent me a great document for each one.

Mostly about the politics of the 5th century, Pericles, Kleon and so forth. If you have a document related to any of that, that would be fantastic!

Oh, and this might be a stretch because I haven't found anything myself, if you know of a good quizlet for quotes from Aristophanes, Plato, the Old Oligarch and other sources please let me know.

@ anyone who does love and relationships???
what are the ideal qualities of men and women

greek men
produce legitimate heirs (born inside marriage) as future citizens
be the head of the family (kyrios)
provide wealth for their oikos
participate in the assembly (democracy)
serve as a soldier defending your city state (military service was compulsory for able bodied men aged 20—60)
behave in a moderate manner

greek women
produce legitimate heirs
act modestly & have limited contact with men outside the family
wool–working to provide clothes for the family
supervising slaves, running the household and rearing the children
taking part in certain religious rituals
preparing dead bodies & funeral rites
be beautiful and ideally fair–skinned
despite their role in the daily running of the household, raising children and making clothes, Athenian women were not by any means the head of the household and were, for the most part, prohibited from leaving the house without an escort

roman men
participate in political life by climbing up the cursus honorum.
being skilled in public speaking; giving strong speeches was important to win votes in elections, plead legal cases, and command troops on the battlefield
display virtus: manliness, strength, vigour, bravery, ability, virtue, excellence

roman women
display pudicitia (chastity, modesty)
produce legitimate heirs
run the household and manage business interests
participate in certain religious rituals
support her husband at dinner parties and attend appropriate public events
