Vans for hospital shadowing
Hi, can I wear the shoes 'vans' to work experience? They said no trainers so are vans considered trainers?

if they're all black or a dark colour then maybe, but it might be a bit risky. tbh, id either check with the employer or play it safe with some kind of boot/school shoe or potentially ballet flats ?

Vans aren't necessarily considered trainers, but they probably aren't something you should be wearing with that sort of rule. I'd go for something neater, if that makes sense? Mary Janes, formal-ish looking boots, like something in the vein of Doc Martins, or loafers. Hope this helps some
