Funding for Masters Conversion Courses

Hi.

I have a Ba (Hons) in Education, a PGCE, and a Masters in Education which I studied online part time. All have been funded by SFE.

If I wanted to study a masters in Psychology (conversion) course - part time - would I receive funding for that?

If so - could you list all of the exemption topics for 24/25 please?

Thanks 🙂

Hi PLStamp,

Studying Psychology full time is not an exception course so you would not be able to receive funding for this

Dental hygiene and dental therapy (Joint or dual honours)

Nursing and social work** (Dual honours)

Occupational therapy

Operating department practice (Degree or diploma level)

Orthoptics

Physiotherapy

Podiatry

Prosthetics and Orthotics

Speech and language therapy

Thanks,

Hi - it was part time I wanted to study.

Would the conversion course be acceptable or just the undergraduate?? The courses I’ve looked at so far are:

Teesside uni C800/psy. Bsc (hons) psychology

Sunderland uni CID210 Psychology conversion. MSc.

Thanks.

Hi PLStamp,

You would be able to study Psychology part time at undergraduate level as this is an exception but if you have already gained a Masters level qualification and/or had Postgraduate Loan funding in the past we would be unable to offer funding for the Psychology conversion course

Thanks,
Calum
