Comission only door to door sales? I wouldnt do it. We've become increasingly hostile to doorstep selling.

These places will pretty much take on anyone, v little risk for them.

Agree with @StriderHort - although it comes down to the product or service you're selling. A quick search on the success rate average comes back with 1-3% (so 1 to 3 sales every 100 doors). Not sure how accurate that is but I personally wouldn't want anyone showing up at my door trying to sell me something.

Yeah true but i don’t have any experience here in UK yet and therefore i am not getting calls. I am just willing to gain some experience for a few weeks or a month so is it worth doing for that? I mean would it mean anything for my cv or it’s just waste of time being insulted at doors. I am new here so just looking for some advice from people who have worked here

Yeah, if it's just for the experience, why not? However, don't get comfortable if you don't like the job, many people stop looking for jobs once they get one.

Also, as for not getting calls.... don't wait for responses or calls. Many applications are not even get read, they are a million reasons why they might not call you back, completely unrelated to you. Don't get discouraged or disappointed because of that, definitely don't blame yourself.

Try to apply for 30+ jobs per day (as long as you find as many), there are plenty of job pages out there you can try. Never ever wait for a response, you waste precious time and you will end up lowering your self-esteem.

Also, create a LinkedIn profile with relevant information and try to contact recruitment agencies in your niche.

I'd say waste of time. It's tricky to add self employed things to your CV and difficult to get a legit employer reference as they didn't employ you. An entry of a few weeks or a month on a CV isn't worth much and if anything raises questions like 'why did this end so quickly?'
