Having problems with X1 lettings

I made the horrible mistake of staying at X1 Chapel Street on Manchester for this term and it has been horrible. Most of the issues have been due to the building being managed by two companies and nobody makes any repairs or does proper management of the flats. Been trying for an early termination of my contract because of this contract breaches. First they said they couldn't terminate my contract, now they said i need to pay £720 for an early termination. Anyone with similar experiences have any advice? Anyone knows whats the bet way of handling this in a legal manner? Thanks!
