health and social coursework

i’m currently in year 12 doing health and social and sociology, anyways i’m doing coursework for health and for those who take it or have took it in the past, is it normal to have over 60 pages worth of coursework for one unit including learning aim a,b,c,d which excludes all distinction task? all the passes and merits are done apart from distinctions and j feel like ive wrote a bit too much but i can assure that quality is put in to it in just worried that im gonna get penalised for basically going above word limit. so someone please reply if you think over 60 pages of coursework is alright?

Level 3 year 2 here, I am doing the WJEC course so it might be a bit different if you're not from Wales.

If you are doing an exam or assessment, they won't mark anything beyond the word limit. As an example, I just did an exam that has a 5000 word count, I can go over by 10% (so 5500), but anything over 5500 won't be marked.

I know it can be really difficult (and frustrating) to stick to the wordcount sometimes, especially when the question expects you to talk about multiple different legislations, frameworks etc, but it's something that you need to get used to on this course unfortunately,

hey , I'm also doing health and social care and more than 60 pages may even be too little for some coursework units. im in year 13 about to finish the course in May and for my unit 11 i have 26 pages and im only a quarter way finished so no it not too much. As long as everything you've written makes sense i dont see the problem with excess of 60 pages.

Hiii, as I do health and social care. It is normal that you have a lot of pages for just 1 unit. Cause there is a lot of criteria’s to meet so there obviously will be a lot of pages and a lot of detail within your coursework. So don’t be alarmed by the amount of pages.
