I’m unsure if I’m choosing the right gcse

Hi! I’m in year 9 and I’ve chosen my GCSEs options already but I’m unsure if it’s the right fit. I chose psychology and BTEC enterprise but I just realised BTEC isn’t even a gcse. I want to probably be an event manager or maybe a consultant or HR or something. Just someone working in a high top business. What GCSEs should I take instead or should I continue doing these ones?

Both the BTEC and GCSE’s you have chosen are level 2 qualifications. A Levels, T Levels, and BTEC’s are level 3 qualifications which you do after your level 2 qualifications.

What Im saying is, your BTEC and GCSE are equal.

The GCSE’s you pick are optional, as different schools will offer different GCSE’s. As such, jobs wont require a specific GCSE, other than english and maths (also by the fact, that higher level qualifications are more important, such as university degrees).

Ultimately, the only thing that matters is the grade you get.
