Change of circumstance- next payment due next Thursday

Hello

I have increased my part time degree intensity and my university has sent over the form to increase the fee/maint loans.

However I have a payment due next Thursday and today I noticed it’s changed to “processing application” . The payment page still says “ready to be paid”.

My question is, if this isn’t processed by next Thursday will I still get paid ok?

Thanks

Hi there,

The payment may come through for the original amount if we can't get it changed in time. If this is the case, once it is updated there'd be an additional payment made.

Thanks, Ross

Thanks, so if it still says “processing application” I will still get the payment?

Hi 1Confusedperson1,

Yes, the application shows this status as we are processing the change of circumstances from your university regarding your study intensity

Thanks,
Calum

Thanks. It has now changed back to “approved” but the change of circumstance hasn’t been processed as the loan amounts are the same.

any ideas why this would be at all?

Hi there,

It would be best to access your account so we can check this.

On Monday can you try sending us a live chat on your account? We can then look into what's happened.

Thanks, Graeme

Yeh thanks. I was shocked when it changed to in progress within an hour of them sending it over. Could it be due to SFE just receiving it that day and it will go back to in progress when they pick it up again?

Hi there,

It could be just due to us receiving it. As Graeme did advise, you should contact us via live chat so we can check the progress today.

Thanks, Ross
