Economics B alevel (edexcel) pre release
Hey guys, currently revising for the pre release for paper 3. I wanted to ask what specific topics in the themes are you guys focusing on. I feel like everything has something to do with growth and expansion in a way.

micro and macro growth (so methods of growth and growth) believe they are both in theme three? Also growth in the economy as a whole! has your college/sixth form given you any additional help?
Thank you, yeah i find that it’s basically going to be a repeated of paper 2 in a sense where there’s a lot of theme 3 and 2 topics on growth. My school hasn’t given any support whatsoever. They literally just gave us the prerelease about a week or two ago!

oh god that's awful, i would recommend ensuring u would knowing all the themes i have been looking at the layouts of the paper 3 and they seem to extend out to different themes e.g a question could be the expansion of the company by moving their production to achieve lower labour costs! stuff like that anything mentioned about expanding so globalisation, growth, methods of growth, where to locate your production and growing economies (fdi) i can't really think of much more from the top of my head but i would just go over the spec and see if anything talks about explaining micro or macro expansion could it could either be expansion of a business or a economy. but i wouldn't worry too much about paper 3 as it's quite far still!

also i don't think many people do our spec so it's difficult to find resources but i just used the revision textbooks they give us, i still need to go over theme 3, but i think the others are fine except market failure for me lol 😔
So true, there’s barely any resources for our spec. Thank you so much though. For me it’s the theme 4 graphs
