Should i resit Year 12?

I am currently in Year 12 and I do biology, business and psychology. I want to do dentistry which i have realised just now but i am not sure whether or not I should resit Year 12 and take chemistry instead of business. I've done a bit of research and I've seen that i would be able to apply to the University of Plymouth and KCL with my current A levels and i wouldn't need to do a foundation year. I would also be eligible to apply to the University of Bristol, the University of Manchester, the University of Plymouth and KCL which offer a foundation year for dentistry. However if i resit Year 12 and do chemistry i would be able to apply to Bulgaria if i don't get an offer in the UK and i would have a lot more options in the UK as well . So should i resit Year 12?

Resitting year 12, then doing dentistry takes the same amount of time as doing a foundation year dentistry course.

So is it worth it? Cause my options might be limited. I also wouldn't be able to apply to Bulgaria as they require chemistry and biology

On UCAS, you can choose 5 courses to apply to, but you can only apply to 4 dentistry courses.
https://www.medicmind.co.uk/medicine-ucas-guide/ucas-dentistry-application-guide/

‘There are a number of things you must consider to help make your UCAS Dentistry application stand out:
Work Experience
Wider Reading, including Hot Topics
Admissions Tests (UCAT or BMAT)
Dentistry Personal Statement
Dentistry Interview’

It is best to do some wider reading and get work experience (virtual or in person) to see if dentistry is for you.

Do you currently live in Bulgaria or do you want to go there?

What I would - get work experience, see if I actually want to study dentistry, not re-take year 12, apply in year 13 and see if you get in, if not take a gap year and take Chemistry in your gap year to see if it would boost your chances
Honestly, don't retake year 12, just sit the UCAT this summer get a really good score
Apply strategically it should be fine
