Depends what kind of job you applied for (Service Colleague, Section Manager, Cashier and etc)

Yeah, asking for a "right to work" document is just fine. If you are British citizen, passport is sufficient.

They might ask for instances where you provided exceptional service or worked against a stringent deadline.
Try to answer these questions with examples which shows how you are as a person. It's fine if you have no previous work experience, it doesn't have to be a work related example. You probably have had tricky situations at school or with friends that you handled well (leave out the personal details). If you can't think of one, perhaps explain how you would approach a similar situation working at Asda.
They are looking for someone who can help customers with their enquiries, nicely handle issues and complains.
Think of 1-2 questions that you would like to ask them at the end. It's best practice and shows curiosity.
