For international digital media students, which university is better? Is it worth studying a PhD? I really love learning and studying about digital media.

You need to work out which uni is best for yourself, by looking at the universities that achieve the output you want - so where do the leaders in your field get their degrees from?

And you also need to define 'worth' studying for a PhD. For example, 'worth' studying for a PhD to get a job in digital media design? No, absolutely not, not even worth getting a Masters degree. 'Worth' studying for a degree in academia? Pretty much mandatory!

Digital Media is a practical subject. I suspect you would find very few universities with direct openings for PhDs in the area, and much of the research output would come from allied and more established academic areas, such as CS, Sociology, Psychology etc.
