Boots interview

Hi has anyone had a boots interview? Could you please let me know what happens. I was really surprised when they sent me a email for an interview. I would love to work there but I’m a bit nervous of the interview.

The email said this
When you arrive you'll meet with a manager who'll be really keen to learn more about you and why you're interested in the role, and will ask you some questions about your previous work experience.

Next, you'll be invited onto the shop floor to complete a few short exercises, based on the types of activities that our team already do in the role. As part of this exercise, you'll be on the shop floor, so we do ask that you wear smart attire.

In preparation for one of the exercises, please give some thought to a product which really appeals to you personally and is likely to be available in the store you're applying to. It's also a fabulous opportunity for you to see what it's like to work for the Boots team.

does anybody know what type of questions they could ask from and how the shop floor task is

I would really appreciate it
Thank you very much

Unfortunately nobody can give you exact questions for your interview 😔 😔 😔

Shop floor exercise can be a number of things that you can do......
1) you might be asked to do meet and greet and hand out either promotional leaflets or shopping baskets at the entrance ( usually at very large stores).
2) you could be asked to approach a member of public and ask if you can assist them - don't panic as all they are looking for is your communication skills and how you handle the situation with public).
3) you may be asked to go and find three different products in different parts of the store and you come back to whoever asking you to do this and discuss what each product does ( information labels are your best friend on this one).

Wear a blouse or short sleeve t-shirt/ top with black trousers and flat shoes ( if female)

When you arrive at the store just ask a member of staff to notify the store manager that you are here for a interview...... I would suggest arrive about 10-15 minutes early and have a quick look around the store and familiarise yourself with layout while waiting to do your interview

Interview is broken up usually with questions and answers sessions and then shop floor exercise and then some more questions afterwards.
