I did my GCSEs 5 years ago now so forgive me if I’m wrong (I mainly used PEEL structure and got an 8 in Language so it is possible) but generally I think if you know what the examiners are looking for that helps. If you can you can look at past papers example answers from the website (is it AQA?) that might help you with your structure.
This page on BBC bitesize is also useful to help with structure for answering a question about how a writer uses language to make an impression on a reader. https://www.bbc.co.uk/bitesize/guides/zq6vg82/revision/2
Hope this helps a little!!

You could use the What How Why as a guidance to answer the question. What is the writer trying to achieve in the extract. How does the writer demonstrate this (technique/analysis). Why is this effective on reader

Hi,
Honestly It differs, however I found that the prtezel structure to many people seems to be the best one to use
P oint
R eference
T echnique
E xplain effect
Z oom in
E xplain effect
L ink

This seems to be the best one for all questions in English language apart from Q5
