Should I leave IB year 12 and start foundation courses

I'm now preparing for my year 12 final exams. I am finding the IB course to be quite challenging, and I failed my midterm. Should I begin my foundation course after the final exams?

Any answer helps

Hope you are OK. The IB program can really be brutal and it's fine if you do not feel that it is the right fit for you.

If you already have an offer to start your foundation course in Sep'24 (I presume you were accepted based on your secondary school results e.g. IGCSE grades), and where year 12 final exam grades do not form part of your foundation course offer, then whether or not you take your final year exams is irrelevant. In this case, you can take some time off for your own "recuperation" before your start your foundation course.

What are your thoughts on what you want to do after the foundation ?

Are you looking at a specific foundation? Switching to A levels might give you more options and cost less.
