Can you talk about anything that interests you from the subject your applying for? Or do you have to make sure that it is a module at all 5 universities?

Hi @kwakraon

You can add in anything that interests you about your chosen subject, as this will show your deeper understanding and interest into the subject. If you can also mention things to do with your desired courses, that's great too. But your chosen unis will want to see your own passion and interest in the subject, so don't be afraid to add in your personal interests.

Universities will want to see how passionate and self-motivated you are in your chosen subject. As long as you can link it back to the subject you are considering taking, there is no problem with discussing it. However, it is important to consider that you are limited to the number of characters you have, so prioritise staying to the point and being clear and concise.

Another thing, I would suggest is to show your personality through your statement! Possibly devote a paragraph around your hobbies, interests, and achievements. Universities want to know you are keen to study, but also that you know how to balance your study life with your personal life.
