Hi there,
Could really use some help here! Various recent and ongoing family chronic illnesses mean it would be really helpful to me to interrupt my taught MA programme (I’m part-time, in the final year). However, I have now finished all teaching and have one module essay due in May and a dissertation due in September. I have read on some university pages that it is not possible to interrupt taught MA programmes once teaching has finished – in some ways this makes sense, otherwise one is effectively adding year on to the module/dissertation deadlines. However, finding clear info on this has been challenging; does anyone know, is it possible to interrupt a taught MA course once teaching has finished but deadlines remain? Ideally, I’d suspend for the year now and return to submit the assessments this time/September next year. Effectively, is it only possible to interrupt during the course of teaching? Thanks so much.
