Hi guys! I'd like to ask for some help with deciding on the firm choice medical school.
Which medical school would you say is a better place for someone interested in research and looking for a studious environment along with teaching where concepts are very clearly explained and there is sufficient academic support (i.e. asking if you're confused with something)? The thee options are Dundee, Brighton and Sussex Medical School, and Cardiff, but even being able to choose between Dundee and BSMS would be of great help.
On a trip to BSMS, it became evident that they do have a special focus on research because of the independent project in year 4 and the ease of getting involved in research from lecturer's area of interest (all lectures appear to have a research interest). But that's just one aspect of it. Moreover, there's no information on this side of things in Dundee or comparisons of BSMS with Dundee.
Thank you very much for your time! Any input would be highly appreciated (:
Edit: A levels taken: Physics, Biology, Chemistry, Maths. Predicted A* in all.
