hello!!
i honestly just created mine to motivate me so i know what i do per day. and if i haven't crossed anything off at the end of the day then.. well that's a disappointment. also, exams are so close so i need to properly lock in and make the most of the rest of Easter and the next month-ish.

here's my gyg! 🙂

made it so i can stay accountable and organised and like track progress
if you don't know already, my name is Emmanuella and I am in Year 13! I study Psychology, Sociology and Spanish (all AQA!) and probably the best thing about having a Grow your Grades blog is the aspect of accountability - it's a nice way to track what you have done for revision! also, people's responses are the best !

here's the link to my gyg: emmanuella's year 13 gyg: in her academic grindd 🧠 🎀 - The Student Room
I like somewhere to record what I'm getting up to and I like the support I get from other members of the TSR community

Hiiiiiii!!!!!

I mainly started it because there aren’t really many GYG blogs around just with a focus on Maths or doing to combo of subjects that I do. I also made mine just as a way of tracking my progress and meeting new people.

I do A-Level Maths, Further Maths, Statistics, Computer Science and an EPQ and I’m predicted A*A*A*A*. Link to my page below:

Hiya!

I created my gyg to log whatever work I do, kinda so that I remember to do a bit everyday so that I can update about it.
I also update with some more general stuff about what I get up to, I used to do how my week had gone (mainly when I'd forgotten to update more regularly), but it is mainly all school related (╥﹏╥) - I think I'll probably update more about non-school stuff as a way to lighten up the stress of coming exams!

The best part, even thought I only started mine up a couple days ago, is definitely the motivation I gain from having others looking over at what I'm doing and accomplishing, making sure I'm not slacking. And the best part is it goes both ways! The community is amazing such that we give each other confidence and motivation to keep on going and allow us to get the best grades possible!!!

Couple of key takeaways:

Motivation, you work harder if people know that you are supposed to be

Friends, everyone is so lovely and supportive

Keeps me organised

I was so nervous starting one in December lol, but I'm glad I did because I got to meet you guys, if anyone is thinking of making one please do (and tag me!)

I just wanted to create a GYG to have some sort of accountability and chronicle a little bit how doing a psychology degree is. I've only half-heartedly done both of these things but I like it and I update it every now and again and will try to update it more frequently next academic year

P.S.: here is my GYG: https://www.thestudentroom.co.uk/showthread.php?t=7397972
