i think i like the visual log/diary of seeing how i'm progressing over time - it's going to be something nice to reflect on afterwards. (it's also good to keep myself accountable lol) also the community and just hearing people older or younger than you who have similar academic goals cheering for you, has actually really motivated me and pushed me to do even better!

also, seeing as grow your grades is all about studying & accountability, i wanted to highlight something called 'TSR Study Together'! every tuesday from 4:30-6:30pm, a live study together thread is run where you can log on, tell others what you are working on & then report back closer to the end of the session! you don't have to stay for the whole of the 2hr session and it's like a mini-version of what you guys do on your Grow your Grades blogs! if this sounds like something you may enjoy, press this link, read the original post and then comment which team you would be in on that thread! after that - you don't need to do anything else because you'll be tagged automatically in future sessions! i know a lot of you have done this already, but would love to see some more gyg bloggers! also, thanks for the lovely responses you have left so far - absolutely smashing it!!

Even though I don't post on it every day (though I still try!), it's always a place where I can freely announce what I'm studying or planning on doing which makes me accountable for it and so I always make sure I complete the task in the end! Hopefully, after my GCSEs are done I can look back on it and see my study journey and see how far I've gone since year 10 started.

its like a little mini-journal so i can keep track over time, but also helps me to stay accountable to my studying, without making my life completely studying so i dont burnout. im quite far off gsces rn but i think it'll help me achieve good grades in general

my gsce life - its relatively new and will probably be quite chaotic but come and have a look

hii ❤️ it really just keeps me accountable - i find that when i don't update my gyg i'm less productive because i know i don't have to tell you guys i didn't do any work. also, it's nice to be surrounded with likeminded and ambitious students like you guys. ALSO, if you have read my gyg, you should know i rave about my many interests, so being here and knowing that i have to work FIRST to be able to rave about them after motivates me to work so i can indulge in my interests bahaha.

https://www.thestudentroom.co.uk/showthread.php?t=7451210 here is my gyg! i've been quite inactive as of recent though baha

Hello. The best thing is that i am motivated and can get revising as soon as i wake up. I am able to get through all my work, and hopefully this will pay off in the end. Doing a GYG page for me is to see my personal progress through this awful time 🙂
Thank you!

Tysmm for tagging me

I must say, what I like most is all the supportive comments I’m starting to get. Especially when you’re not having a good day, and you open TSR to see nothing but kind and supporting words from people really encourages me to study and want to do well.

I was really hesitant to make one at first because I thought I might be judged or that it wouldn’t help me (as someone who prefers to be by herself and study without any help) but once I did, I didn’t regret it.
