Hi there,

Congratulations on your upcoming graduation with an Integrated Health and Social Care Degree! Fortunately, this degree opens up many career paths for you.

For example, you can work as a nurse who cares for, observes, treats and promotes health to patients. You can either work in public health or intensive care.

You can work as a care worker who assists people who are mentally of physically limited. The responsibilites include washing, dressing and feeding clients in nursing homes or clients' homes.

You can be a Health Care Assistant whose duties include taking patient observations, assisting with patient movement and helping with feeding and personal hygiene.

Other opportunities include being a Counsellor, Health Advisor, Community Development Officer or Youth Worker.

Your degree equips you with a range of skills and I hope your interests and passions will further guide your career choice.

Make sure to explore different options, consider internships or placements and seek advice from professionals in the field or your university's careers advisors to make the best decision.

I hope I managed to help!

Best of luck,

Hi there,

Congratulations on your upcoming graduation!

You've already been given some great things to look into from the other responses, but I just wanted to pitch in with a few ideas.

I find Prospects to be a really interesting site to explore what you can do with your degree. It gives you the resources to look into further study or career options, and has a lot of really interesting information! I've linked it here.

I'd also recommend that you speak with staff in your department about career options, as well as the career services that your university should offer. They are extremely knowledgeable, there to help you, and will be more than happy to create an action plan with you for your next steps.

I hope this helps and best of luck,
