Hi there,

Have you already gained a degree previously? Is this your first qualification you're aiming for?

Thanks, Ross

I'm currently studying Dietetics which is an allied health course (almost finished Yr 2). I have one year of previous study (where I didn't get a qualification), then Foundation Year (from Human Nutrition BSc) and the 1st Year of 'Dietetics and Nutrition'. The Foundation Year was a pre-requisite to the 'Dietetics and Nutrition' , so essentially it was part of that ELQ allied health course.
But thinking of switching or doing this degree (stated above) afterwards.

Thanks. The course code offers three different courses. Is it the integrated masters you're looking to do or the bachelor degree with honours? Thanks, Jason

bachelor degree with honours
Hi there,

This course is not classed as an exception course so we will take your previous study into consideration when we assess your application. If you have 1 year of previous study at a different course and now are 2nd year of a different course this would be classed as 3 years of previous study. You’re entitled to funding for the length of your course, plus 1 additional year, minus any years of previous study you have. Here’s the calculation we used: 3+1-3=1 year of funding left for the Tuition Fee Loan and this would be allocated to your final year. You can still apply for the Tuition Fee Loan for all 3 years.

Thanks, Drew
