Will my acne go away if I stop using prescription meds - skincare and k beauty

I'm currently on adapalene n have used it for about 3 months but only this last month i built up my tolerance to use it daily. I double cleanse with cerave foaming cleanser and centella oil cleanser at night aswel and dont cleanse at daytime and use the dynasty cream by boj as moisturizer and skin1004 SPF. Prior to adapalene I used benzoyl peroxide for 2 years which worked amazingly but I became resistant to it so was given adapalene. My skin is now the worst it has been I have really bad acne and marks and red deep bumps and it's just destroying my confidence will getting rid of adapalene completely and just using what I have be enough to rebuild my skin and get rid of the acne

Maybe you should try taking a break from all the chemicals and heavy skincare.

You could experiment on how light skincare may do for you - maybe around a month?

Contact ur derm and ask for a different route, just nag them. I literally just copied and pasted this from a website but this most likely applies to you:

"It's important to stick with the product for at least 4 weeks before deciding on quitting it. If you see no improvements after 6 weeks and have been breaking out nonstop, stop using the product altogether.
As someone with acne-prone skin myself, I have been prescribed Adapalene (aka Differin) by a dermatologist. Differin is a retinoid that speeds up cell turnover and in theory is great for people with acne. I remember using Differin religiously for over 12 weeks (yes, 3 whole months) and my skin just kept getting worse and worse. I naively didn't see my dermatologist because I assumed this purging stage was normal and it would eventually get better. I ended up going to a different dermatologist after 12 weeks who told me that I should have stopped using it if my skin saw no improvement after 6 weeks. I was left with lots of scarring and hyperpigmentation, which could have been avoided had I stopped using Differin earlier. "
