Computer Science insurance Queen Mary vs City

I would like to know was anybody accepted by QMUL CS last year after they achieved AAB or A*AB instead of the standard AAA? I know City would be the safest insurance with ABB.

Was City in Clearing last year? I couldn't visit City so is it true they teach more languages?

Whatever happened last year, the year before, or whenever, is not going to tell you anything about what might happen this year - so unless you really dont care about Uni, now is the time to pack in some serious revision and get those grades. No-one owes you a Uni place - its entirely up to you.

I am already aware of all these things. I'm already revising. But many students don't get the required grades and can miss out by 1 grade. I am doing pretty well right now but it depends on the day. Where did I say that I deserve a place?! I didn't want my thread derailed. Why do people do that?

Re-reading your message I can see that you are actually asking about 'grade variations' not 'leniency'.

The simple answer is that, as you might expect, no-one knows.
It will depend how many people hit their grades, and are accepted, how many spaces are left (if any) on that course and how the Uni decides to fill them. Will they accept 'grade equivalents' or not. Its all impossible to predict or 'know' in advance. Even if they did this in a previous year, they may not do it this year.

As for City's course curriculum, or extras on the side, look on the website and if it isnt clear, email the Uni Admissions office and ask.
