What work can i do?

I am currently 15 (16 in early june) and i am looking for a job to earn some extra cash. I am not sure what jobs i can do and what places will want me? Any Advice? thanks

A lot of places wont take you on until you are 16. Some also require you to have finished school (i.e. the end of june in year 11).
But you could look at independent places- like independent cafes, restaurants etc. They are more likely to take you on.

Hi

You can legally apply for a job working in boots the chemist as they employ young people from the age of 15.
Any other retailers you'll not be able to apply until you turn 16 and then you'll be restricted for where you work about ( especially in supermarkets due to the age restricted rules of 18 ) .

Perhaps try your local independent shops and see if they are looking for someone to take on.

Try leisure centres I started when I was 16 and you don’t need experience to be a swim teacher or lifeguard you just need to know how to swim

some places may wait to start you until your 16 but it's worth applying now, you could go on indeed and just mass apply to part time jobs but if it's your first job larger companies may not take you due to less experience so it's good to get a job at small businesses like restaurants or cafes so i'd just start by emailing small local companies for part time work or ring them. if you're struggling still you could look at volunteering just to get some experience on your cv
