Fare envasion

I didn't had any card with me when I was travelling from ruislip in Piccadilly service to Sudbury town, I met my friend there and asked him to help me to which he opened the gate for me but he left at rayners lane as he was getting late then I was about to leave at Sudbury town there I tried to pushed the gate but I couldn't opened the station member caught me and spoke to me about the card or ticket I said I don't have it then after sometime of talking he opened the gate for me and let me out I don't know if I am gonna get some letter for fare evasion or penalty charge I am bit scared

Did the staff member take your details (i.e. name, address, date of birth)?

No he certainly didn't he just opened the gates and let me out

If they didn't take any details, how do you think they are going to arrange for you to "get some letter for fare evasion or penalty charge"?

I think you've been exceptionally lucky here -- you could have ended up with a court case, a fine, and a criminal record.

As long as you didn't show him proof of id he won't do anything
