MPhys vs (BSc + MSc)

Hi, I'm studying physics and I am about to move into the 4th year of my MPhys (integrated master's) course.

It occurred to me that maybe it would look better though if I graduated my BSc and did the 180 credits MSc my university offers, instead of the 120 credits 4th year of my integrated master's course.

Would employers value a BSc+MSc combo more than an MPhys?

Honestly, I would stay on the MPhys if I were you and save yourself the money and the extra loan.

It would only really make sense to do two separate degrees if the MSc would allow you to heavily specialise in an area of Physics that you know you want to get into and I would only really do that if you were looking at doing a PhD.
If you're looking at doing a Master's just to have a master's and you're looking at going into industry there's honestly no reason to pay a lot of extra money just to have two separate degrees - there will hardly be any employer that would see an MPhys as less than an MSc.
