Quantity surveying at ljmu, ntu or loughborough uni

hi i’ve received offers to study quantity surveying at ljmu, ntu, loughborough, sheffield hallam and salford. have been leaning towards ljmu just because of the accommodation and city however i believe the course itself may be better at ntu and loughborough. what should i do?
Hello,

Though I cannot comment directly on the quantity surveying course here at LJMU, I can assure you that each course here is taught excellently with dedicated lecturers and support networks that have helped to scored LJMU a 78.5% score of students 'satisfied' - which is 2.3% above the average for UK universities.
Beside LJMU's excellent scoring of student satisfaction, our accommodations are also at top standard with a vast range to chose from that are all approved and affiliated with LJMU. I am sure you gave already seen the great range of accommodation we offer- I can confirm that they are all great and you will not be disappointed! Make sure to book viewings at our different accommodations by visiting the campus for Open Days / Applicant Days as this will help you make your decision and reassure you that you are coming to the right place! You can look and see when the next dates are on the website🙂
Liverpool is a great city that is full of things to do - you will never be bored here. When choosing university it is important to consider all aspects, from course content to the city so it is good that you are taking it all into consideration!
I can assure you that LJMU is a brilliant university 🙂 Good luck!

Hey @Arc-hie 👋

Congrats on your offers!

Our Quantity Surveying course is designed to prepare you to succeed in the construction industry. 96% of our BSc (Hons) Quantity Surveying and Commerical Management sandwich graduates are in a 'High Skilled' role 15 months after finishing their degrees (Graduate Outcomes Survey 2020/21).

The course is also certified by the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (RICS), the Chartered Institute of Building (CIOB) and the Chartered Association of Building Engineers (CABE). These accreditations represent how the course delivers the highest standards of teaching and course content.

It's the perfect course if you're looking for a degree which focuses on maximising your employability prospects, alongside accommodation options right on the doorstep of the campus and city centre.

If you've not visited us already, I'd recommend attending an NTU open day. Our next one is on Saturday 27 April. You'll be able to see our campuses and city, alongside the chance to chat with our staff and current students to answer any questions you might have. You can book your place here

Let me know if you have any more questions 🙂

Best wishes,

The QS degree is not so important considering you will probably go for MRICs qualification afterwards so go with your gut and choose whichever uni you feel most comfortable with overall after attending the open days.
