Religion wastes people's lives. According to religion, you can't have sex ever, you can't love ever, you can't marry ever, you can't have children ever. Basically religion says you can't be happy
Not true, sex is for after marriage, love is not forbidden, and where the heck did you get that having children and marriage is a sin? Educate yourself before you go yapping ignorantly. The rules of every religion are there to guide us and maintain our human decency. Repent for your sins.

Being gay is not a sin, you can't control your attraction. But being in a sexual relationship is a sin.

Don’t worry christianity allows flexibility to go along with whatever aspects of faith you a buy in to and to ignore the others. Not to mention that the church, in the face deserting membership, is learning not to have the audacity to seek to dictate people’s sex lives

OP said he's gay. Religion forbids marriage for gays, you're not allowed to have children and you can't have sex ever. That's a poor life. That's why people disobey religion

So the bible is a load of contradictory nonsense and repressive religion that seek to control something that it has no right or reason to do so is toxic. On the more positive side these days in the face of righteous rebellion things are improving. Be yourself
Note that the things you say, in the process of defending gay rights, are offensive to many religious people including non-Christians. You are quick to call their book 'contradictory nonsense' and 'repressive' without any proof and, I'll bet, cherry-picking exactly defences what you want to hear. The irony is is that a religious person were to say that gay people are 'nonsense' you'd be quick to dispute or try correcting their language. Disagree all you want, but being disrespectful is a whole other thing.

You describe it as a repressive religion, so that means people who purposely stay virgins and hold value in their sexuality are being repressed. So I suppose according to you everyone reading this should just go out and have sex when they want, drink when they want, and indulge in debauchery as they wish because then they'll be exercising true freedom.....lol.

There's not much of a point arguing if you think it's negative that religions 'control' people to strive to be married before having sex, have stable relationships, and have children. But I'll leave you one thing - where do you think your morality comes from if not God?

I know you'll say yourself. But then think about how the murderers and pedophiles in jail would give me the same answer.

It sounds like you're purposely missing out the facts here. I agree scripture says otherwise, but there are denominations which allow same-sex marriage, so not all religions (collectively) forbid marriage for gay people. Whether religious people think that's right is a different claim.

As for your second claim, obviously you can't have children if you're having gay sex - have you not sat your Year 9 sex ed class yet?

And third, what would be the point in same-sex marriage if you cannot produce children from it? If you want to just have sex for the sake of it, what does that achieve? Engage in debauchery all you want; but you know yourself it is wrong with the way you say 'disobey' referring to religion as producing a set of bounds, than to 'disbelief', which'd imply that it's wrong alltogether.

And after all, you wouldn't view a person who has had sex hundreds of times and another who has never had sex as the same, all else being equal and irrespective of gender - so there is a inherent value in being objectively 'purer' with a life partner.

The largest religions are homophobic and forbid same sex relationships and marriage. Atheist gays can have children, they have biological children with surrogacy insemination or they adopt children. Gays have exactly the same right to be parents as heterosexual people, only religion forbids them to do what they want. I'm not moralist and I don't judge people, everyone should be free to do what they want. Who are you to judge?

Keep engaging in debauchery and asking who I am to judge, I'm sure that will get you far....😆

The bible says "You shall not lie with a male as with a woman; it is an abomination". The Qu'ran is in agreement.

It is accepted you can have thoughts as you can't control them but acting on it is the actual sin

The same way someone can have a fleeting thought to commit adultery but if they don't act on it, they won't be punished

You can ask any person who is religious and they will concur they don't actually care what you do behind closed doors. The main problem (that the majority of the LGBT community conflate with hate) religious people have with your belief is the way it is artificially pushed into the limelight and attempting to become compuslory for kids to learn about. Especially in America where literal adults are authoring degenerate books made for children to cover new sex positions, and various things a child shouldn't be learning.

LGBT members make it their entire personality to be a part of the community too -- purposely distorting their accents to make it obvious to all by just speaking, and generally acting in a very obnoxious and eccentric manner -- which makes it a very unpleasant experience to interact with those who do.

As a religious person one of my best friends as a child came out to be gay later in life, and I hadn't known until we were way older. I respect him the exact same way I did back then, he doesn't speak in the obnoxious faked accent, I can still have a funny conversation with him, and he's very respectful too.

well not all boys like women Christian traditions is sexual diversity. For many Christians, one of the most frequently first-asked questions on this topic is, “What does the Bible say about attraction to someone of the same sex?”

Be yourself. If you are gay then stand proud. God teaches love. Also God created you, if He wanted you to be straight, he would have done. The bible was (I believe) last updated hundreds of years ago and many verses are now outdated. Think Jacob's wives. Be yourself and follow your heart. God wanted you to be this way so embrace it. You are as worthy as any other of His children. Feel free to DM me if you need support, I have been there too and am happy try and help you through this difficult time.
