better late than never - gyg 24' :)

Welcome to my attempt at a GYG's blog
this will either be rlly amazing or rlly bad so if u feel like keeping up to date with a stressed year 13 be my guest!!
about me:
-uhh i'm probably the worlds fattest procrastinator
-I study Biology (AQA), Maths (Edexcel) and Chem (OCR A) A levels
-I am predicted ABB but I'm aiming for AAB as I have an offer for Pharmacy
-Currently working at CDD (I know shameful)
Yeah basically I'll update everyday when I can, my first exam is June 4th so I've been locking in since the start of easter, u should SEE my flora garden.
If anyone does the same subjects as me/exam boards hmu I'd love a study buddy!!

things i aim to get done today:
-chem topic questions on benzene and carbonyls
-chem flashcards on both topics to
-biology topic questions on mass transport in animals and plants
-biology flashcards on both of those topics to
-then a blurting poster of topic 3
-maths past paper pure 1, will probs do it under timed conditions then review it
-then TRYYY to go over some stats i've literally been putting it off for so long

Heya! I can't wait to hear more about your journey up to your big exams, best of luck in advance!!! OMG I take the same A levels as well! I also do AQA Biology and Edexcel Maths, but do OCR B Chemistry 😭. I'm in Y12, so I fear being a study buddy would hold you back for Biology, however I've covered the Edexcel Maths course already so if you need any help with anything feel free to ask!
And don't worry about what grades you're getting currently, just set your sights on your goals and put in the hours and I'm certain you'll make it! But I bet the flora garden is impressive, I always kill my plants off accidentally when I have to message my parents... 😂
But again wish you lots of luck for your exams, just gotta lock in like you said and get it done! Im a year 12 student and I also take bio (aqa) and chem (ocr a) but then the third is psych (ocr). Its so hard for me to find a OCR a student on here😭.
I would have study buddied with you but I feel like I dont know half the content and so I acc want you to focus lol. instead Im going to be cheering you on

-complete chem exam qs on NMR and spectroscopy (I HATE THESE QUESTIONS)
-complete more qs on chromatography (this ones nice)
-then go over my year 1 organic flash cards for mechanisms
-complete topic 4 bio qs on protein synthesis and meiosis
-complete bio topic 4 flash cards (I LOOOOOVE DNA)
-complete initial blurting map on topic 4 to see gaps in knowledge
-actually look at some stats papers in maths today
-practice normal distribution i acc dont get it
-then practice some trig
and yeah another productive day my aim is to finish by 5pm )

im telling you bio aqa mark schemes are the bane of my existence but im such a nerd its the one subject i actually enjoy revising bio. but maths bro stats can go away i acc cant
ahaha ive been unlocking all the plants of flora and i love seeing my little garden grow its acc so exciting so motivates me to do more, and i feel u on accidentally killing the trees lol
