Should I take highers or AH (Glasgow law)

Hi, so just wondering for law would unis prefer to see more advanced highers or highers? I’ve achieved all the highers I need to take but then have a choice to take another AH or two more highers and i don’t know what unis would rather

I don’t think it shoukd matter too much? Do you mean taking multiple Advanced Highers or a combination of Highers and Advanced Highers? Glasgow equated a B at advanced Higher to an A at higher, and I would say it’s easier doing multiple advanced highers than the 5 highers in S6, so that might be the most important thing.

But like if I got an A at AH surly they would prefer that over an A at higher ?

The only conditional offers I’ve ever seen are for a B at advanced higher. I’m taking 3 Advanced Highers and they just want a B in one of them, so no I don’t think it would make a huge difference. I do think Advanced Highersnarenreally brilliant Are getting you used to independent study and I would encourage you to take 1 or 2 advanced highers x

I was going to take AH history because it specifically stated that they wanted an AH in English/humanitarian subject alongside higher philosophy, business, P.E and Geography but have to opportunity to move schools and study AH history and Modern aswell as higher geography and p.e and didn’t know which combo uni would prefer
