Can you give some advice for English lit?

i know you didnt reply to me but i got an 8 in my mocks and my best advice is to do essays or even just essay plans. find a structure that suits you, for example i do edexcel and for inspector calls i use PEEWC which is point evidence explain writers intention and context. i do an essay 1 or 2x a week and give it to my english teacher to mark and then use my feedback. if you set it out like an essay or essay plan you will become so much more familiar with it and you can then make sure you select relevant knowledge. for actually learning the content i would always recommend Mr Salles on youtube, he is AMAZING!!

Thanks for answering! That is great advice - never heard of PEEWC which sounds like a genius technique. Thank you 🙂

My english teacher used to be a GCSE and A level english lit examiner and she said if you use that technique you cant miss much out!! its not always about how much you know just what is relevant

Thanks. My teacher is also an examiner, basically all teachers in my school are, and i also do AQA exam board for English so it might be a bit different, but that technique is logical.
