UEA advice

Hiya, I'm thinking about studying psychology in September at UEA and have an offer. I was wondering if anyone had any advice/recommendations for UEA both academic and social? I've been unable to go to any open/holder days and won't be able to attend future ones. I've visited Norwich recently alongside visiting the campus and enjoyed it a lot but ultimately I don't know too much about either.

I'm also wondering if anyone knows ways to meet others off to or already at UEA? I'm from York and none of my friends are off there so it'd be nice to know some people before starting.

Any and all advice/info is highly appreciated, Cheers!

There’s usually a Facebook group for all new students and then further groups on Facebook, Instagram and discord for different societies, Accomodations and interests. Make sure you’re there for Welcome Week, it’s got so many events and opportunities to meet people who also don’t have friends at the uni or are looking to make more!
