Student placement terminated

Hi can someone give me some good advice.
I am currently in my final social work placement at uni and today I got suspended because of an allegation that me and other members of staff were bullying a staff member and I had taken a video of her. I originally denied the allegations however afterwards I went back and confessed that there was a video but the video was to do with a different situation and the person happened to be in the video well the back of her head.

The placement have decided to drop the case however my uni have decided to investigate further and have suspended me for tomorrow as they will be having a meeting to decided on what to do.

I don’t know what to do as I can’t stop crying because I was not bullying her or have ever been horrible to anyone and it has been blown out of context.

well i'm assuming you did other things other than that video the back of her head was in because i can't imagine a uni caring about just that. what did you do to her?

I imagine the university might want to understand what you were videoing and why; and indeed why you were videoing anything at all while at your placement.

You might want to contact your student union for advice and support.

Literally nothing the person reporting it took it out of context and say we was recording her and bullying her however that was no the case and my placement have agreed with me and it’s the uni taking it further

The uni may have an ethical obligation to look into this rather than seemingly pursue you for "no good reason". Accept that the uni has the right to do this. Stay calm, don't be defensive. As martin7 suggests, consult the SU and look at taking someone with you to the meeting.

A little strange that you would even be filming anything whist out on placement especially as a student, do you not remember this when you signed up to do social work? Is confidentiality not a key factor when being a social worker? There was reasoning why someone has reported you for bullying, especially when you had said you originally denied the allegation, to me this sounds like you know you have done something wrong? This doesn't sit right with me and if this is your attitude i don't think social work is the career for you. Don't sit and cry about it - you done this to yourself i hope you learn your lesson.
Be prepared, be honest, and be open and apologetic if any of your behaviour is deemed inappropriate.

As above, speak to your SU and take someone with you to the meeting.

I think if you haven’t done anything wrong you should have anything to worry about. It’s probably a formality on their side, and they probably have to investigate. If you feel you have done something wrong then owning up and apologising to the person involved and management of placement. Probably looks better you owning up and taking responsibility if you are in the wrong, or explaining the context of the situation to prove there was no intent of bullying.
