York Uni email login when do you get it??

Hey so I'm confused, I have a username for You@York (this isn't it but it's similar in the sense) it's like "Qpr5Sly" or whatever but is this temporary? And will I be sent an "email login" or maybe have I missed the email where it gives me my "email login"? Anyways just a bit worried I missed it. Am also trying to log into this uni app but i can't without my uni email lol. Help anyone?

Hey, you should have been sent an email with a You@York username and temporary password which you can change later. As far as I know we haven’t been given an email login, I assume it’s not needed at this stage 👍

Hi,

Your student email should have the format [email protected]. It's normally a series of letters followed by numbers. If you're struggling to log in to anywhere I'd email [email protected] and they will be able to help! 🙂

yeah changed the password but the username was kept the same? was i supposed to change that too? i hadnt noticed

yeah i'm just not so sure i've received one yet when abouts are they sent out? after results day? before?

Hi, I'm not sure exactly when you receive your email address but my guess would be once you've enrolled? If you email [email protected] they should be able to advise 🙂
