Hey, I also auditioned start of Feb and not heard anything, wondering whether to email but don’t think it would do much to be honest! It’s coming up to 10 weeks now!

Hiya! My audition for the MA was also in Feb and I just got an offer today so definitely don’t assume it’s a rejection- they do seem to be taking a long time (particularly with the BA courses) and it does seem to be in a bit of a random order where people who have done auditions more recently are hearing back before people who did them ages ago xx

Have you heard back yet?

I Auditioned back in December for Acting, I got to the interview round but i haven’t heard any decision yet. I’ve got a place at another school but LIPA is my top choice. I really don’t want to lose the accommodation option at my other choice as it’s first come first serve. But i can’t accept the other offer to apply until LIPA gives us their decisions. It’s so stressful and i have called LIPA lots now to ask when and they can’t give us an answer! ☹️

No still haven’t heard! I did end up emailing them though. They said they were going to get through more recalls before they make final decisions & they’ve still got them throughout April & May. It does say on ucas that all schools have to make their decision by the 16th of May so I imagine we will have to wait until very close to that date which is still weeks away!

Hey, I had an audition in December and still haven’t heard, has anyone else still not heard? I was reading on this app a couple people have been offered places and also waitlisted but I haven’t heard? Not too sure if that’s a good thing or not

No news yet and my daughter auditioned on March 1st. According to UCAS if you applied before 31st Jan providers have till the 16th May to respond. So, if that is true it should only be 5 more days to wait. However, I'm sceptical. My daughter just feels like withdrawing now, she has an offer of a foundation from East15 and she's happy with that and has started getting her head round it. She wants to get on with planning accomodation ect. She feels that if LIPA wanted her, she would know by now. I'm trying to tell her we can wait 5 more days. If we don’t hear anything by the 17th May, I'll struggle to stop her from withdrawing I think. :-(

I totally get that, its an amazing place and my daughter just felt so at home there. She loved it. Just need to keep reminding her after all this time and waiting 🙂 I can understand the desire just to get all this over and done with ... and take back some control though. She got an offer from NYT last week, so thats been a good distraction. Rioght 5 sleeps to go. Wishing you success and a positive result. x

I believe LIPA first round offers went out 6 weeks ago, including notification of being on the reserve list.

Those on reserve will move to an offer as students decline offers, obviously, but it is worth knowing that if they receive their last decision on or before 16 May 2024, their reply date is 6 June 2024 but if they receive their last decision on or after 17 May 2024, their reply date is 24 July 2024. Those offers remain open for those students the whole time as they cannot accept an offer until all decisions are in.

It is frustrating all round as some places make very slow decisions and it has a knock on effect on that student and others (including accommodation availability issues!).

I know some students have also received rejections, so I think if you do not have a decision, that is potentially good news as it means you are still in the game!

I hope this helps and good luck everyone!

My son is in exactly the same position, a foundation offer from E15, but still awaiting LIPA, hes chopping at the bit for me to put deposit down on accom at E15, but im keen for him to await LIPA outcome to be sure...its a frustrating wait

Wow, this is actually crazy that people from December still haven’t heard, not even a small update 😳 my daughter had her audition mid December and she got her offer for BA Acting during February half term, so I thought everyone else that auditioned then would have heard by then/now. Some people on here mentioned that an early offer like my daughters is a very rare thing. I really hope that everyone gets an update this week. Good luck to everyone still waiting, you’re troopers!

Another one here for "still waiting" for any kind of response club! My daughter went through both rounds mid January and still hasnt heard? No rejection, no offer and no reserve list. Is it possible that they just dont respond and leave a student hanging? I have read that all offers have to go out by May 16 in two days time?

Same here, I feel like calling admissions to ask but I’m not sure if they’ll be much help

is this just for reserve list as I have heard absolutely nothing and I’m worried I’m just not gonna hear anything as a kind of rejection as I thought ucas will reject automatically by deadline. I did apply before 31st jan so I was told they have to tell u before that right?

Thank you for explaining. I thought all universities had to make offers by 16 May (tomorrow) and I did actually email admissions yesterday as I think it’s quite poor that my daughter has heard nothing in 18 weeks. She applied in early November and had her auditions 10 Jan. So 18 weeks is a really long time with no news… most drama schools will reply within the usual 3 weeks. So if she hears nothing by 17 May are we to just assume she has been rejected? If she is rejected why wait 18 weeks to tell her. Anyway I’m just ranting really ha ha! I have twins so going through it with two! If nothing heard by 17th she will accept another offer she has so she can move forward and then tackle the accommodation!
