Jobs in UK

I m doing a master's at UCL in medical sciences. My course end date is 26 Septembe. I m looking to find a job starting as soon as my course ends. Is it possible? Btw I'm international student. I haven't started applying for jobs :frown:

. I'm ok with any job within health sector.
What I prefer to do is to work as a research assistant. I'm doing a clinical project and I really want that my supervisor offer me a role as an assistant after my course ends. Is it okay to ask? Also I'm looking for paid work so not sure if such roles are paid.
Please guys share your experiences and advice me. Thnks a lot :smile:
