Ian Baker House or Schafer House???

About a month ago I received an offer to study BA Philosophy and Economics at UCL and I didn't think I'd live in accommodation, but with each passing day I change my mind more and more...
I've started looking at UCL accom and the best places I've found that are within my budget, close to the uni, and with facilities I'm happy with are Ian Baker and Schafer.
I got off the phone with a friend earlier and she has friends in both, she said that in Ian Baker you share a flat with 15 people (which can get very crowded) as opposed to 5 in Schafer and apparently in Ian Baker you can hear people going to the toilet???
I'm really torn because Ian Baker is LOVELY, from the music and computer rooms, to the literal library, the kitchens look really nice, and the actual rooms are very cosy regardless of size (judging from the photos). Another thing that draws me to it is that it is shared with ramsay hall, which could potentially mean a better social life?
I don't really know what to choose (although I'm sure it's obvious that I'm leaning towards IB), if anyone had any advice or personal experience that could help inform a decision I'd be grateful!!

hey! so UCL allocate accom slightly differently to some unis! rather than ranking individual halls, you rank room types (single ensuite, small single, large single, studio, etc) and give them your budget, along with a few other things (like catered/non-catered). i filled out my application a few weeks ago and that's all i can remember :,). If you really don't like what you're allocated i believe you can swap rooms? but I've heard it can be quite difficult due to demand (hence how they allocate housing this way) but of course if you have any questions contact ucl housing! I've heard UCL are quite helpful and friendly when it comes to these things
