Widening access mediicne

Hi I think I’m a widening access applicant. I am applying to medicine next year. However, for Glasgow just doing to reach programme doesn’t mean you are elibgle for widening access. I live in Edinburgh so Im not sure what to do.
Hi,
I don’t know if I can be much help but I’m planning on doing med later on too, starting my reach program around December time. Typically, if you want to study at Glasgow Uni with the adjusted entry requirements, you MUST check whether you qualify for widening access or not.

If you are, that therefore means that you can complete the Reach programme. Once you have done that, it means you can get AAABB at higher in s5 and still be able to get into Gla, depending on your Advanced Highers (BB). This is the main difference between normal and adjusted entry; the grades at Higher. Everything else is still the same; you must complete the UCAT, and once you have applied to the uni, they may offer you an interview if they are considering your application.
To do the Reach program in the first place, you have to be eligible for Widening Access.
If you have any more questions, please ask! I hope this was helpful x

I’m eligible for widening access but I’m unable to do the reach Glasgow program cause I live in Edinburgh. I’m in the reach Edinburgh programme but I’m not sure what “successful completion of reach” means
