Picking between two offers

I have received two unconditional offers from two unis for medicine. One is med with a foundation year (A108) at Nottingham whilst the other is a standard med (A100) at a non-russel group university that only started offering medicine as a course in 2021 and again only opened this to Home students this year. On the fence about picking between these two and wanted to year some of you guys' thoughts.

Best to go straight to medicine. Nobody cares where you went to medical school. Have you ever asked your GP where they went to uni? Of course not. Good luck

Wow, that was a really detailed and thorough response! I have been thinking about the same points myself. I recently went to Nottingham offer holders day and now I am waiting for the other one. I am a home student, so distance-wise, Nottingham is only 65 miles away from me, whereas London (Brunel University) is a bit further. I've heard mixed reviews about both Nottingham and Brunel. Guarantored wise Buckinghamshire University is the one. GMC visit last year has confirmed they were on the right track. Nottingham seems to have the lowest student satisfaction ratings. Living in London will always be more expensive than living in Nottingham. Also, all students from the foundation year will move on to year one of the actual medicine course as long as they pass, which is set at 40%.
