Proofreading

I'm a retired solicitor. I have recently done some proofreading of academic papers for my daughter and some of her friends. What I did was limited to spell checking and pointing out misused words and sentences that don't make sense.

I learned a lot in the process and enjoyed it so much I have decided to offer to do the same for students who are unsure of the quality of their typing or English in general and who want their English prose text checked. Because I will be doing this as a hobby I would not charge a fee, although I might decline a request if what I am asked to do is more than I can manage.

I can't offer to do this for scientific or similar work but anyone else interested in having their academic paper proofread for free please message me.
