applying for bristol accommodation email

Has anyone received an email about applying to accommodation at Bristol? If so, how long did it take to come after you firmed the uni?

I'm not sure if it is first come, first serve but i want to get my accommodation application in quick just in case

I firmed for Bristol in January but did not get an email about accommodation, you have to register through their portal which is all done on their website and it will take you from there. It's not based on first come first serve so you have until 30 June to make any changes.

Also I don't suppose you know if I apply for an accommodation room type which says it has 2 beds available, do you know if that means I would be in a flat with only one other person? Asking because that doesn't sound ideal but a few of my accommodation choices have very few beds available.

you're welcome, and from what I understand it is it varies from accommodation to accommodation, the best way to check is if you scroll to the bottom of each page it will give you a bit of detail on how many people you would be sharing a kitchen/ bathroom with
