Applied Science and A-Level Maths At The Same Time

Hello, I want to be a pharmacist (or anything in the field of medicine) and since my GCSE grades are low, I want to do an applied science l3 extended diploma, but I also want to do a level mathematics along with this course. Do you think a level mathematics is necessary and will I have difficulty if I do these two courses?
Have a look at entry requirements for MPharm. Most want A level chemistry, so that may be a better add on.

Just one example, but Bath want chemistry on top of BTEC. Might be worth checking its the correct BTEC too as dont really understand the difference.
