Student finance Wales: How to apply for just a grant
I’m trying to apply for a student grant in Wales which, as per https://www.gov.wales/student-finance/full-time-undergraduates is a minimum of £1,000 but on the student finance wales website it won’t let me just apply for a grant.
If I go through the undergrad application and say I don’t want a maintenance loan or another loan it just boots me out and tells me I don’t want student finance ??
Am I missing something or do I have to call the support line?

Hi did you manage to resolve this? I may not take maintenance loan either.

I have part-time student finance and I've never had a problem applying for just the grant. It does seem odd that the full-time application isn't allowing that. I'd give them a ring and see if it's a technical error.
