Hi, this is the University of Aberdeen rep account. Thanks for your interest! I have provided some information below that I hope will be of use to you on making a decision.
I would recommend having a look around this site for students of each of the unis you have offers from to see what the general consensus is. It's also worth thinking about the cities and what appeals to you. Do you want to be close to or far away from home, do you want to be in a big or small city, are there things/places in that city that you're interested in or will be good for any hobbies you have; those sorts of factors should definitely be on your mind as well as the actual courses of each of the universities. Then it would be worth having a look on each of our websites to see what appeals to you about the courses eg. course content, projects you will get to do through your degree, prospects upon graduation, that sort of thing. Our School of Law has quite a lot of information on our website that might be worth you having a look through: https://www.abdn.ac.uk/law/about/index.php
I hope this information has been useful and all the best with coming to a decision!
Personally, I think Aberdeen is a better option for law than Edinburgh Napier!
Hey!
Yes! you are write but according to my previous experience edinburgh is the good. But it all matter to self study. Edinburgh uni is located in edinburgh city, a culturally rich and historic city. This uni offers the opportunity to take business-related modules alongside Law. It claims a 100% student satisfaction rate and strong focus on student support. Edinburgh is generally more expensive than Aberdeen. Student Experience: Known for a friendly and supportive atmosphere with a focus on student satisfaction (100% satisfaction rate for LLB students according to National Student Survey 2023) [napier.ac.uk]. Edinburgh itself is a larger and more vibrant city compared to Aberdeen. If you want to work in law outside of Scotland, Aberdeen might be a better choice.
